Overview

Validrive is a desktop app that helps automate event validation on the Daredeevil platform.
It was created to remove the repetitive back-and-forth between Excel files and Daredeevil when reviewing driving events.

1. Why Validrive?​

Before Validrive, checking an event meant:

  • Opening an Excel file with the event details
  • Opening Daredeevil
  • Manually searching and creating capsule lists, copying IDs back and forth
  • Copying event start times to get the capsule video at the right frame
  • Going back to Excel to update the review outcome : validate, correct times/labels, add a note, etc…

Repeating this for hundreds of events was slow, boring, and easy to mess up. Validrive puts the whole workflow in one place.

2. What it does​

With Validrive you can:

  • Load an event list directly from Excel or CSV
  • Jump directly to the right capsule and timestamp on Daredeevil
  • Validate, correct, or invalidate events from within the app
  • Replay or split/merge events without leaving the workflow
  • Use filters to navigate large datasets

3. Who it’s for​

Anyone working with Daredeevil event data who wants to save time and avoid repetitive manual work.
